the best part, though::
i told some people in my class that i'm going to have a slovak language test around christmas, and that if i fail, i can get sent home... and when they gave me presents, they gave me a cute pink pillow with a teddy bear, some chocolate, and two books for learning slovak, since they know i don't have any yet. [[i bought some that my english teacher found for me over the internet, but they aren't here yet.]]
and it was really cute because some of them told me that if i ever need help, i can ask them and they will help me... and then simona said "because we don't want you sent home at christmas."
and it was just really cool...
so i'm going to stop typing now and go learn slovak! =P
